I agree with the conclusion of their article that peaching that uses PowerPoint generally make the gathering a classroom that emphasizes teaching, note-taking, etc. that is devoid of genuine preaching for a verdict.  Powerpoint presentations make the focus of the gathering the information and not the connection and dialog between the audience and the preacher.  If the issue is information then why not just give people a USB drive with all the information they need to study?  It makes the preacher lazy and and make his more of a reporter than a preacher.  Let me know what you think?
